August Sander (1876-1964)

Menschen des 20. Jahrhunderts

January 27 - May 13, 2017

Galerie Berinson has moved and will re-open at Schlüterstr. 28 in Berlin-Charlottenburg with an exhibition of seventy unique large format photographs by August Sander.

At the end of his life, the artist himself conceived this exhibition series and produced it with the help of his son Gunther in 1961/63, choosing those images that would best convey his concept of reflecting and categorizing all strata of German society through photographic portraits. The series will be on display in its entirety for the first time in over fifty years.

We look forward to receiving you in our new setting!
